Tomahawk Church Blesses Community with Needed Items

For the last three years, the Tomahawk Seventh-day Adventist Church has sought to bless their community by giving what they call “Treat Trays” to those in service jobs. These trays are filled with many things from needed clothing items to tasty treats. This year they have given to two local Nursing Homes, the police station, ratio station and the elementary school in town.

The church has been trying different outreach methods and have found this to be a blessing for their community as well as for themselves. Everywhere they have delivered a tray the recipients have been very thankful and even surprised that the church had thought of them. Candee Kuhn, member of the Tomahawk church, recalls that when they delivered hats, mittens, socks leggings, sweat pants and underwear to the elementary school the lady taking the items said “You don’t realize how much these items are needed.” Kuhn goes on to say, “the church family really came through with all the items and so many people will be blessed. Especially us.”

The pictures below show Shorty Mundt, Tomahawk church member with some of the school staff and radio station employees.

Thank you Tomahawk church members for finding ways to be a blessing in your community!
