Education
What We Do…
The education department promotes Adventist education in the K-12 school system, and works to develop the talents of its teachers and students. We provide consultation in program development, personnel, school accreditation, and teacher certification.
Our Mission
Developing leaders today who will walk with Jesus through eternity.
Because we believe that true wisdom comes from God, we encourage schools to provide students opportunities to accept Jesus as their Savior, allow the Holy Spirit to transform their lives, and live a life of service. This is done by being involved in daily school worship, Bible labs, weeks of prayer, and local Church outreach programs.
Wisconsin Board of Education
A strategic planning and visioning committee for the educational programs of the conference. The members are elected by the Executive Committee and include teacher, pastor, lay, and WA alumni. They meet six or seven times per year.
Koinz 4 Kidz
You’re invited to join the Koinz 4 Kidz movement. People are saving their change in Koinz 4 Kidz containers for elementary school scholarships. Here is what your church can do to participate:
1. Give Koinz 4 Kidz containers to those who want to participate
2. Set goals
3. Have members bring in the containers packed with change
Through the generosity of people who want to support Adventist education we are able to award hundreds of dollars in scholarships to elementary students.
If you would like to know more about participating in this rewarding and benevolent project contact Sue Nelson at snelson@wi.adventist.org or 920-484-6555.
