Friday Wisconsin Pathfinders Loaded 600 Donated Flood Buckets at Oshkosh International Camporee

On Friday, August 16, Wisconsin Pathfinders loaded 600 ACS flood and fire disaster buckets into a truck in 17 minutes! These five-gallon buckets, packed with rags, gloves, disinfectants, bags, and other much-needed disaster clean-up supplies, value at about $50 each. They were donated to the Wisconsin Conference Adventist Community Services Department by the North American Division. During the Oshkosh International Pathfinder Camporee, Pathfinders filled 5,000 of these disaster buckets as part of earning their “Serving Communities” Pathfinder honor.

“This was a special gift donated to us and a wonderful way to reach out in our communities in time of need,” said Alice Garrett, Wisconsin Conference Adventist Community Service Coordinator. If your local church would like to receive some of these buckets, contact Alice Garret.
