Work Begins on Camp Wakonda Medical/Store Building
  • *Update as of the end of October: The original foundation has been taken up – see pictures below. Donations for the Medical/Store Building project are at $38,042.53 (Almost 40% of our current goal). Thank you!

Workers have begun the process of tearing down the old Medical/Store Building at Camp Wakonda. This structure has served our camp well for many years and we are grateful for those who came before us that shared the vision for the ministry at Camp Wakonda!

God has blessed us with the ability to continue that ministry with new and updated facilities and for that we are also grateful. During the month of October, following the removal of asbestos, the old building is being torn down in preparation for the new construction to begin.

We want to thank you all for your continued support of this project! In addition to the $100,000 donation, you have given $30,627* toward this project! We have raised 30% toward the current goal of doubling that donation!

Together, with God’s blessing, we can build our future!
