Campestre Familiar Hispano 2023
Una vez más el Señor permitió, con su bendición, que lleváramos a cabo el Campamento Hispano 2023 del 2-6 de agosto con el lema “Ven y Sígueme” en el Campamento Wakonda.
Los oradores invitados fueron el Pr. Omar & Nessí Grieve, ambos oradores del programa televisivo “La Voz de la Esperanza”, quienes ministraron a los adultos en el auditorio principal mientras el pastor Jochy Jamel y su esposa Jayla, inspiraban a los jóvenes con sus mensajes dinámicos en el Fireside Lodge y la cantante cristiana, Sampaguita Bahena, le dió el toque musical especial a las reuniones espirituales diarias.
Los diferentes departamentos de niños fueron atendidos por los pastores hispanos y voluntarios quienes enseñaron a los niños a seguir a Jesús diariamente.
Los seminarios de “Cocina Saludable” fueron presentados por Nessí Grieve, Noemí Miranda, Sonia Sánchez y Yudith López, quienes hicieron conciencia en los asistentes a tomar la opción de comida vegetariana-vegana, no solamente para gozar buena salud, pero también para tener la mente dispuesta a recibir claramente los llamados del Espíritu Santo.
Al comenzar el sábado de mañana el Pr. Josué Interiano dirigió el circulo oración, seguido por el flamante desfile de los Conquistadores Hispanos, quienes, al lucir sus uniformes de gala, y marchando por las calles del campamento, proclamaban de esa manera su disposición a permanecer en las filas para seguir a su Capitán Jesús de Nazareth.
Al medio día, el servicio de adoración culminó con una linda ceremonia bautismal en la cual 4 nuevos miembros sellaron su compromiso con Jesús al ser sumergidos en las tibias aguas del lago Sandow. Al finalizar la ceremonia, el pastor Grieve hizo un llamado y muchas manos se levantaron en preparación para bautismo.
Por la tarde del sábado, todos se dieron cita para escuchar los cantos solemnes entonados por Sampaguita Bahena en concierto completo. Seguidamente el Pr. Jochy Jamel predicó a todos, niños, jóvenes y adultos reunidos en el Pavilion para terminar el sábado de tarde.
Después del último mensaje del Pr. Omar Gireve del sábado de noche, terminamos la jornada con actividades sociales y deportivas como también con la actividad de recaudación de fondos por la Federación de Jóvenes de Wisconsin (JAHWI) lo cual fue todo un éxito.
Agradecemos a Elgin & Becky Ziesmer, al Pr. Zack Payne y al staff de Wakonda, a los pastores Hispanos, al director de seguridad Silvestre Torres y a su esposa Carmen por ayudarnos en el departamento de enfermería y todos los voluntarios que hicieron posible que el Campamento Hispano se llevará a cabo sin ningún incidente, pero con las bendiciones del Señor Jesús y un clima agradable. ¡La gloria sea para el Señor!

Hispanic Camp meeting 2023
Come and Follow Me
Once again, the Lord allowed, with His blessing, that we carry out the Hispanic Camp Meeting 2023 from August 2-6 with the theme “Come and Follow Me” at Camp Wakonda.
Guest speakers were pastor Omar and Nessí Grieve, both speakers for the TV Ministry “La Voz de La Esperanza who ministered to adults in the main auditorium while pator Jochy Jamel and his wife, Jayla, inspired the youth with their dynamic messages in Fireside Lodge. Christian singer, Sampaguita Bahena, gave the special musical touch to the daily spiritual meetings.
The different children’s departments were attended by Hispanic pastors and volunteers who taught the children to follow Jesus on a daily basis.
“Healthy Cooking” seminars were presented by Nessí Grieve, Noemi Miranda, Sonia Sánchez and Yudith López, who made attendees aware of choosing vegetarian-vegan food, not only to enjoy good health, but also to have the mind willing to clearly receive the call of the Holy Spirit.
On Sabbath morning, pastor Josue Interiano led the prayer session, followed by the parade of the Hispanic Pathfinders, who, wearing their dress uniforms, and marching through the streets of the camp, proclaimed their willingness to remain in the ranks following their Captain Jesus of Nazareth.
At noon, the worship service culminated in a beautiful baptismal ceremony in which 4 new members sealed their commitment to Jesus by being immersed in the warm waters of Sandow Lake. At the end of the ceremony, Pastor Grieve gave a call and many hands were raised in preparation for baptism.
On Sabbath afternoon, everyone gathered to listen to the solemn songs sung by Sampaguita Bahena in full concert. Then pastor Jochy Jamel preached to everyone, children, youth and adults gathered in the Pavilion.
After the last message from Pastor Omar Gireve on Saturday night, we ended the day with social and sports activities as well as the fundraising activity for the Wisconsin Hispanic Youth Federation (JAHWI), which was a complete success.
We thank Elgin and Becky Ziesmer, Pastor Zack Payne and the Wakonda staff, the Hispanic pastors, the security director Silvestre Torres and his wife Carmen, who helped us in the nursing department, and all the volunteers who made it possible for Hispanic camp meeting to take place without any incident. God also blessed us with. Glory be to the Lord!
