Robert Egger Accepts Call to Manage The LightHouse Thrift Store

We are happy to share that Robert Egger has accepted the call to serve as the manager for The LightHouse Thrift Store located on the campus of Wisconsin Academy. Previous LightHouse manager, Jim Parish, has transitioned into full time pastoral ministry here in Wisconsin.

The Egger family has been members of the Hudson Seventh-day Adventist Church since 2007, when they moved to Wisconsin. Prior to moving to the state, Robert worked for the Southeastern California Conference at Pine Springs Ranch summer camp (Maintenance, Grounds and Kitchen) and at the Calexico Mission School (Maintenance, Grounds and Substitute Teacher). Most recently, for the last twenty five years, he has been driving school bus, both in California and here in Wisconsin.

Robert says, “I have loved driving and working with the students and will miss them but, I’m ready to move forward with the LightHouse Thrift store to try to grow the store and the influence on the community and the Wisconsin Conference. I believe God has called me to this position and I am stepping out in faith that this is where God wants me and my family.”

Robert is married to Deb and they have two daughters (Alexis and Zoë) and one grandson.

We welcome the Egger family to this new ministry and pray God’s blessing on them as they make this transition.
