Wisconsin Women’s Ministry Message for 2021

This past year has been a challenging one for all of us and it has definitely been an example of how quickly things can change in the twinkling of an eye. We have been continually adjusting to the changes.

I am thankful that we were able to meet together as a group on February 28-March 1, 2020 for the Empowerment Weekend at Camp Wakonda. We were honored with the presence of our speaker Tawny Sportsman and all the ladies who attended enjoyed her presentations: Take Heart! There’s Hope!

Because of COVID-19, and restrictions on traveling and assembling together, we had to make some major adjustments and Dr. Hyveth Williams, our speaker for the Fall Retreat, was unable to be with us in person. However, we were blessed to have her presentations available on DVD or USB drive. If you have not had a chance to view these, you are missing out on a huge blessing. The messages she shares are very timely for our present circumstances: Along The Prayer Journey, Destination Heaven. You can still order them and share these messages of encouragement with other ladies. Click here for ordering information.

We are now embarking on another year, with new possibilities and a renewed hope. I pray that we are not discouraged and that we continue to trust in God, His protection and guidance and even more so, His will. God will make a way and His way is always on time, His time. May we not lose hope and may we continue to trust in His word and claim His promises.

Psalm 91:1-16 KJV “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” Psalms 91:1-16 KJV

Jeremiah 29:11-13 KJV “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Romans 15:13 KJV “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

Ephesians 3:20 KJV “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”

Here another version:

Ephesians 3:20 AMPC “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]–”

Trust in God!
Cling to His Word!
Claim His promises!
Do not be discouraged!
Do not be dismayed!

Philippians 4:13 KJV “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Philippians 4:19 KJV “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

May we continue to praise God from whom all blessings flow! May we thank Him for our protection and the blessings of our guardian angels. May we request an in-filling of the Holy Spirit daily and moment by moment and be comforted and encouraged and guided. May we place all our cares and our concerns for others and our families and ourselves in the palms of Jesus’s nail scarred hands and trust in His Will and His plan, and share the good news with others. Because Jesus is coming again!
