Over the weekend of September 6-8, Adventurer Clubs across Wisconsin gathered together at Camp Wakonda for their annual Family Camporee! The theme for this year’s event was Safe With Jesus.
Over the weekend the group had fun learning about safety in a variety of ways. Youth Director, Zack Payne, shared the following on the Wakonda Facebook Page:
“Fun learning about safety at Adventurer Family Camp. Big thanks to the Westfield Fire Department and the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department for sending folks to come talk to our Adventurers. Another big thanks to all the young adults who came out and helped teach safety classes, and organize songs and games. And finally: thank you to all the clubs and families who support these events. It’s a lot of fun getting to spend the weekend together at beautiful Camp Wakonda.“
