Waukesha School’s Unique Community Service Project

Every year we encourage our schools to participate in community outreach projects under the focus of S.E.E. (Students Engaged for Eternity). This year, the Waukesha Campus students did something unique for their community project. They went to a local farm and collected acorns off the ground in the woods.

After working for about an hour collecting as many as they could, they took the acorns to an organization called Wildlife in Need. This is an animal hosptial for squirrels and other wild animals.  The people working there appreciated the food because acorns are comfort food for squirrels, especially for sick animals.

Thank you Waukesha students for thinking of God’s creation and helping animals in need.
