Over the last several weeks a lot has taken place at Camp Wakonda in preparation for the building projects planned for this coming spring. The pictures below will give you a glimpse of what has been happening. We are so thankful for the many volunteers who have been helping with projects and clean up at our camp!

We are excited to share that donations are already coming in and that $38,827 has already been given! In order to make sure we have all the materials in place before Maranatha arrives, the conference is challenging Wisconsin members to match*, dollar for dollar, a large gift of $322,000 that was given earlier this year.

You also have the opportunity to join Maranatha Volunteers International and help with our Wakonda: Building Our Future project! They will be on site April 17- May 7, 2023 and you can join their team as a volunteer to help with these projects!

• Replace Youth Division tents with permanent structures

• Rebuild medical/camp store building
• Repair/renovate cabins
