Green Bay Junior Academy Students Raise $920 for Kosrae Mission Project

Green Bay Adventist Junior Academy K-10 students and staff created 40 pillows to raise money for the building of a gym and the needed improvements to the church in Kosrae, our Lake Union mission project.

To make the pillow, artwork was created on fabric and then colored with crayons. Then volunteer church members Joe Corson and Gloria Wilde used our drawings and turned them into beautiful pillows. The pillows were purchased by the students themselves or at the school’s Arts & Craft Show that was held last Sunday. The pillows were sold for a minimum $10.00 donation each. However, many people donated generously and the school was able to raise $920.00! Thanks for helping us to make a difference in the lives of those living in Kosrae.
