Our national Thanksgiving holiday stems from the feast held in the autumn of 1621 by the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag gathered at Plymouth to celebrate the colony’s first successful autumn harvest, an event regarded as America’s “first Thanksgiving.” 3ACS students enjoyed dressing up like pilgrims, turkeys, deer, fox, and even a fire!
