This spring, the Milwaukee Northwest Seventh-day Adventist Church and the West Bend Adventist Church have been blessed to witness two beautiful baptisms, each a powerful testimony of faith, commitment, and service. On Sabbath, March 23, 2025, the church celebrated the baptism of Arnold Okoth, who publicly committed his life to Christ. The occasion was made even more meaningful as, immediately following his baptism by Pastor Cid, Arnold put on his Adventurer Club Staff uniform, symbolizing his readiness to serve the children and families of his church. From the waters of baptism to the frontlines of ministry, Arnold’s journey reflects a heart devoted to both faith and service. His example is a reminder of how spiritual transformation naturally leads to a life of purpose and involvement within the body of Christ.

Just a few weeks later, on Sabbath, April 19, 2025, the West Bend Adventist Church gathered in joyful witness as Randall William Mueller was baptized into Christ’s Kingdom. Surrounded by his parents, brother, and church family, Randall made a heartfelt public decision to follow Jesus. His joy and enthusiasm have been evident throughout his spiritual journey. He was baptized by Pastor Cid and Elder Stanley Hughes from the West Bend Church Planting, who has served as his Bible instructor and mentor. It was a deeply meaningful moment for everyone present, a culmination of faithful guidance and personal conviction.

Although their stories are unique and took place in two different congregations, these baptisms reflect the shared movement of God’s Spirit across both churches. We welcome Arnold and Randall into the family of God and the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, and we invite our community to continue uplifting them in prayer as they grow in faith, discover their purpose, and live in joyful service to Christ.
