Vasti Alva holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from her home country of Peru and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Andrews University. Her passion for serving within the Seventh-day Adventist mission field began during her time at ADRA Peru. Later, God opened the doors for her to come to the United States, where she spent six years working in the Payroll Department at the Central California Conference. For the past two years, she has served in the Finance Department at ADRA International, an experience that has brought tremendous growth and learning.
Vasti truly believes that God has guided her to accept the call to serve as associate treasurer for the Wisconsin Conference. Her goal is to serve with dedication, professionalism, integrity, and humility. For this reason, she embraces the verse: “Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord, and humility comes before honor.”
In her free time, Vasti enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time reading.
