Debbie Darnall began her role as Associate Superintendent for Education in the Wisconsin Conference in the summer of 2023. Debbie received her B.A. in Education from Union College and is currently working toward her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration through South Dakota State University.
Debbie was an Adventist teacher, or teaching principal, for 16 years during which time she taught grades K- 4 most of the time. She says though that she especially enjoyed teaching 5th – 8th grade students while team teaching with another teacher. In 2022 she chose to stay at home with her baby but found a new teaching experience working as a substitute teacher at Ascent Adventist Academy in Dodge Center, MN.
It has been her personal goal to make learning fun, help students love Jesus, and to follow Ecclesiastes 9:10, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might.” She loves themes, projects, and thinking outside of the box and says, “I’m very excited to come and help with all the good things that are going on in the Wisconsin Adventist Educational System.”
Aside from teaching, Debbie loves to cook and be outside in nature.
