President’s Perspective: Lessons From the Doctor’s Office

I recently went in for a physical. They checked me out thoroughly. I wish I could say that everything the doctor told me made me smile. But it didn’t. But it did stimulate two thoughts to ponder.

1) When Jesus points out character flaws through prayer or Bible study, He is challenging us to do better, not condemning us.

2) How we share, even a tough message, is important. When wrapped in concern and love, our words have the power to uplift rather than to discourage.

May our words be ones that will bring hope and courage to those God places in our paths today.
