We are pleased to welcome Vanessa Sloan as the new teacher for grades 3-6 at Green Bay Adventist Junior Academy. Vanessa is no stranger to Wisconsin, as her family lives in Wisconsin and she attended Wisconsin Academy all four years of her high school career. She is very excited to be able to serve in Green Bay.

Vanessa earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Union College in 2017 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at the University of Southern Indiana. She says, “I’ve always known that I wanted to be a teacher so I guess you could say that I’m living my dream every single day! I trust that God has big plans for us this year.”

When not teaching, Vanessa likes to read and discover new food places with her husband, Zach. She says, “We are also looking forward to exploring our new city. We especially can’t wait to take advantage of the various exercise opportunities that area in the area.”
