Outdoor Education: Focus On Flight

Education October 2, 2024

September 11-13, 2024 – Camp Wakonda

Students from all over Wisconsin in grades 5-6 gathered together for 48 hours of fun learning in the outdoors. Teachers and pastors, as well volunteers from our conference all worked together to provide hands-on learning opportunities, joyful worship, and times for friendships to be made with students in Adventist Schools and homeschools across the state.

Our theme this year was flight. Students learned about space, the physics of an egg drop, rockets, tornadoes as well as air currents, birds, solar energy, painting nature, swimming, and several other topics. Worships were held morning and evening with lots of team building activities offered throughout the day.

Pra Chai was our INspire representative at the Wisconsin outdoor school this year. His favorite activities were the rotations and projects he got to participate in. We hope that next year more Wisconsin kids can attend this exciting event!
