Women’s Ministries New Year’s Message 2019

We have been blessed to see the New Year 2019, and we will be presented with many opportunities and challenges, but as we take time to be still and spend time with God, we will be guided to know what to do, as we patiently wait on Him and remember what He has done for us in the past. We need to continually consider the Scriptures and claim the promises.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:6-8 KJV

“Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.’ Ephesians 6:11-13 KJV

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13 KJV

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Revelation 22:12-13 KJV

My prayer is that we face each day with Jesus Christ, are continually filled with the Holy Spirit, and we go where God wants us as the salt of the earth and the light to our world in our neighborhoods. lf we fall or make a mistake, may we raise and get up and ask for forgiveness. May we know that we serve a God who is kind, merciful, forgiving, loving, patient, and a God of second chances. May we sense God’s blessings every day and may we continually give Him the thanks and praise.
