We are happy to announce that Anayancy Hopkins has accepted the call to teach grades 3-6 at Green Bay Adventist Jr. Academy. Anayancy is from Mexico and graduated from University of Montemorelos (Mexico) with a BS in Elementary Education. She also holds a Masters in Cognitive Development from Universidad Madero – UMAD (Mexico).
With over 17 years of experience, Anayancy has had the opportunity of being a teacher in a variety of settings. She has worked as an Adventist teacher for seven years and has taught children in grades K5-11th in both Public and Private Schools.
Anayancy says, “I feel so blessed and excited to have the opportunity to join the team of Adventist Educators this school year. I really value this opportunity because it allows me to support my students’ skill development in all areas—social, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.”
She and her husband, James A. Hopkins IV enjoy serving as Area Coordinators and leaders in the Green Bay Pioneers Pathfinders Club. They like to go camping, bicycling, and boating as a family with their 14-year-old-son, JJ Hopkins.
Welcome Anayancy! We pray God’s blessing as you begin this new year of teaching.
