At its May 28 meeting, the Lake Union Executive Committee voted to elect Elder Ted Huskins as the next Executive Secretary of the Lake Union Conference. His appointment will take effect on July 1, 2025.
Elder Huskins brings with him nearly three decades of ministry and leadership experience within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. His service has included time as a pastor in the Carolina Conference, as well as administrative roles in both the Northern New England Conference and the Atlantic Union Conference, where he most recently served as Executive Secretary.
In accepting this new role, Elder Huskins shared,
“We are humbled and excited to join the efforts of the Lake Union as we embrace Christ’s call to proclaim the everlasting Gospel in each of our four states and five conferences. We can feel your prayers and please know that each of you remain in ours.”
As part of the Lake Union, the Wisconsin Conference joins in welcoming Elder Huskins and his family. We are grateful for the depth of experience, spiritual leadership, and unwavering dedication to mission that he brings to our Union territory.
