Russell Leslie Kothe, of Rockton, Illinois was baptized on Sabbath, August 28, by Pastor Rowell Puedivan in Monroe, Wisconsin. Before he decided to be baptized, Russell completed a series of Bible studies in both Illinois and Wisconsin. His baptism was held at the local YMCA and witnessed by the elated Monroe church family. His wife, Karen, also transferred her membership shortly after Russell made his commitment for baptism.

We rejoice with Russell in his decision to follow Jesus as his personal Savior and we welcome both he and Karen as new members of our community of faith, the Monroe Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Rowell Puedivan, pastor of the Monroe church
