The Racine Seventh-day Adventist Church recently held their Vacation Bible School program with the theme Fiercely Faithful. Seventeen kids attended the program that ran from 6:00-8:00pm each evening. Attendees enjoyed five stations that focused on the Bible and how it applies to our lives today. All who attended, including the adults, laughed and smiled, sang and prayed, played and made crafts as well as shared snacks together.

Someone even stated that this should have gone on for another week! We enjoyed these songs throughout the week: Fiercely Faithful, Walk by Faith, Your Names, Comfort, Jesus  is One.

The theme, Fiercely Faithful, was based on the lives of Naomi and her family including Ruth. Here’s an overview of the week:

Day 1.     Resting point: No matter what, God is faithful. He always keeps His promises.

Bible Promise: Remember that the Lord your God is the only God

Day 2.     Resting point: When I am sad, God is faithful. He always keeps His promises.

Bible Promise: and that He is faithful

Day 3.     Resting Point: When I am lonely, God is faithful. He always keeps His promises.

Bible Promise: He will keep His covenant

Day 4.     Resting Point: When I love, God is faithful. He always keeps His promises .

Bible promise: and show His constant love to a thousand generations

Day 5.     Resting Point : When I am happy, God is faithful. He always keeps His promises.

Bible Promise: of those who love Him and obey His commands

“Remember that the Lord  your God is the only God, and that He is faithful,  He will keep His covenant and show His constant love to a thousand generations, of those who love Him and obey His commands.” – Deuteronomy 7:9
