Racine Church Hosts Tea Party

Racine Church Hosts Tea Party

The Racine Seventh-Day Adventist Church held their annual Tea Party on November 5, 2023 with 60 people in attendance, 15 of which were first time attendees. During the two hour get together, with all in attendance wearing a hat, there was a competition for the person wearing the best hat. Mary Baker-Givens received first place and she celebrated with raising her hands in thankfulness as she won the gift of a tea pot. Dr. Nadine Thomas received second place and won the gift of a tea cup set, with saucer and spoon.

Attendees participated in a mixer where they had to mingle with each other and find out which ladies fulfilled the answers to the questions asked. To do that they had to ask questions of all in attendance. Some examples of the questions they had to answer are: Who went to Italy? Who knows how to scuba dive, Who is wearing the same color shoe or the same color hat as you are wearing? Who has the same birth month? Who is the same age as you are? and Who was born in Racine?

Everyone said that they had fun and they cannot wait for next year!
