Racine Church Hosts First Annual Women’s Tea – Wisconsin Conference of Seventh-day Adventists

On Sunday, October 23, the Racine Seventh-day Adventist Church hosted its first annual Women’s Tea. Twenty seven women were in attendance and, although most of the ladies reside in Racine and surrounding towns, some traveled from as far north as Waukesha, WI and some as far south as Waukegan, IL. Some invited friends and there were many Non-Adventist ladies present. The ladies enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship along with the tasty food and lovely decorations!

Attendees shared a lot of laughter and many hugs and smiles. They were treated to a varied selection of teas as well as finger foods with vegan and gluten-free options. The speaker reminded the women that they are a treasure, precious to God, not just on one day, but seven days a week. Each received seven pearls in their gift bags as a reminder of that fact. There were many other symbolic items in their gift bags in addition to the pearls, to also remind them of how valuable they are.

The ladies stated that they were blessed, that they had fun and that they enjoyed meeting new women and developing friendships.
