New Wausaukee Church Plant Begins

The Wausaukee church plant met for the first time on January 5 in a room of the newly opened health food store in Wausaukee, called Eden Restored, at 528 Harrison Ave. “We had a total of 35 people there that Sabbath,” said Mike Krueger, one of the four core members. “Members from surrounding churches came to support us that day. Since then we have been honored to have a gentleman from the community worship with us a few times. He was raised Adventist and stopped going to church for a while.”

The core members, coming from membership in the Living Faith Church in Suamico, are committed to using Christ’s method to reach their community. They base much of their mission on Ministry of Health page 143 which says, “Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, ‘Follow Me.’”

“We are praying for God’s leading.” continued Mike. “Please pray for wisdom for us and that we will allow God to lead. He has blessed us in so many ways.”

Wausaukee church plant services begin each Saturday morning at 9:30 for Sabbath School, and 11:00 for the worship hour.
