Almond Church’s Annual Wheelbarrow Collection

Almond Church’s Annual Wheelbarrow Collection

The Almond church’s annual wheelbarrow collection was held on November 23, 2019, and $754.59 was collected to be split evenly between the “Worthy Campers Fund” and “Koinz 4 Kidz.” Each year we push the wheelbarrow down the center aisle of the church as members and even some visitors contribute to this very worthy cause.

The funds for “Worthy Camper Fund” are designated to help kids attend Camp Wakonda each summer. The “Koinz 4 Kidz” fund helps children afford an Adventist education. Many of these kids, whether they come on their own or with a little financial help, become baptized Seventh-day Adventists. What a great feeling it is to be part of another person’s salvation that otherwise may not have had the chance to get to know Jesus.

We never know for sure how much money will appear in the wheelbarrow, but no matter what it is, God can use it to draw a child into His arms. Please pray God’s will be done with the money that was collected this year. Praise God for His bounty!
