Koinz 4 Kidz – Changing Lives One "Koin" at a Time

Education April 4, 2025

Dear Wisconsin Conference Church Family,

We’re excited to invite you to participate in Koinz 4 Kidz, a meaningful and simple way to support Adventist education for K–8 students across our conference.

This program was founded by David Rawls, a member of the Sturgeon Bay church, with a vision that every young person should have the opportunity to attend an Adventist school. Through Koinz 4 Kidz, churches and individuals can help make that vision a reality—one coin at a time.

How it works is simple:

  • Use a jar or container of your choice to collect your spare change and dollars.
  • When it’s full, convert the coins into paper money.
  • Place the funds in a tithe envelope marked “Koinz 4 Kidz” and:
    • Drop it in your church offering plate,
    • Give it to your local church treasurer, or
    • Send it directly to the Wisconsin Conference office.

These funds are gathered by the Conference Education Department and used to provide scholarships, which are awarded at Camp Meeting each year. In 2024 alone, thanks to your generosity, we were able to give $4,390.00 in scholarships to worthy students!

This is an ongoing opportunity, and all churches are encouraged to participate—even if you don’t have a local school. Get your whole church involved by setting a collective goal, promoting the project regularly, and making it part of your church culture of giving.
