Medallón de Plata, una actividad para recordar.

El domingo 20 de agosto, 2023, se llevó a cabo la capacitación física del Club de Guías Mayores de la especialidad “Medallón de Plata” en la escuela Adventista del Norte de Milwaukee. Treinta miembros del club de Guías Mayores asistieron al evento, el cual comenzó a las 10 de la mañana con una oración, luego una sección de calentamiento, también hubo evaluación de velocidad, agilidad y otras habilidades físicas.

Los jueces del evento fueron el pastor y guía mayor Samuel Latouche, y las guías mayores Rosana Pérez, Ivelise Núñez y Daniela Botello. En el evento se formaron cuatro grupos, dos de caballeros y dos de damas, y cada juez evaluó un grupo.

Esta actividad fue de mucha bendición, ya que participaron adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos, también tuvimos un delicioso almuerzo y finalizamos a las 2:00pm con una oración y limpieza general del área que usamos.

Aún quedan cuatro secciones de la especialidad Medallón de Plata que serán cubiertas en los próximos meses y esperamos que más personas puedan unirse al grupo para recibir esta especialidad tan importante de los jóvenes adventistas.

Silver Medallion, an activity to remember.

On Sunday, August 20, 2023, Master Guide Clubs met for the “Silver Medallion” physical training day held at the North Milwaukee Adventist School. Thirty members from Master Guide clubs around the state attended the event. The day began at 10:00am with a prayer followed by a warm-up time. Throughout the day participants were tested on speed, agility and other physical skills.

The judges of the event were: Master Guides Pastor Samuel Latouche, Rosana Pérez, Ivelise Núñez and Daniela Botello. For the event, four groups were formed, two for men and two for ladies, and each judge evaluated a group.

This activity truly was a blessing because all ages from teenagers, young people and adults came to participate together. We also had a delicious lunch and ended the day at 2:00 pm with prayer and general cleaning of the area we used.

There are still four sections of the Silver Medallion honor that will be covered in the coming months and we hope that more people can join the group to earn this very important honor for Adventist youth.
