La Federación de Jóvenes Hispanos Adventistas de Wisconsin (JAHWI) llevò a cabo su retiro espiritual anual en el Campamento Wakonda, del 27-29 de octubre 2023.
Cerca de 90 jóvenes se dieron cita para celebrar este retiro con el lema “Otro Nivel” y gozaron la compañía de otros jóvenes de las diferentes iglesias Hispanas como también los mensajes espirituales, los deportes, la comida y el banquete juvenil preparado para un momento social especial el sábado de noche.
El orador fue el Pr. Darío Guimene oriundo de Angola, África, un pastor joven con muchos dones espirituales que ha puesto al servicio del Señor. En este momento está haciendo la Maestría en Divinidades en la Universidad Andrews. Sus mensajes fueron bien dinámicos y Cristo céntricos que llevaron a los Jóvenes a “otro nivel espiritual.”
Al contar su experiencia personal con Jesús, el pastor Guimene, instó a los jóvenes a experimentar un nivel espiritual mas elevado con Jesús, a gozarse en el estudio de la Biblia, en ministrar a otros jóvenes y consagrar sus vidas al Señor Jesús.
Agradezco al presidente de JAHWI, José Luis Interiano, y a todos los miembros de la directiva, por el arduo trabajo en la preparación para este retiro. “Bien, buen hecho siervo fiel” Mateo 25:23.
Personalmente doy gracias al Señor por la juventud Hispana de Wisconsin y oro porque Dios siga usándolos y bendiciéndolos mientras esperamos el regreso de Jesús en gloria.

The Hispanic Adventist Youth Federation of Wisconsin (JAHWI) held its annual spiritual retreat at Camp Wakonda, October 27-29, 2023.
About 90 young people gathered to enjoy this retreat with the theme “Another Level”. They enjoyed the company of other young people from the different Hispanic churches as well as the spiritual messages, sports, food and the special banquet prepared on Saturday night.
The speaker, pastor Darío Guimene, is originally from Angola, Africa. He is a young pastor with many spiritual gifts that he is using in the service of the Lord. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Andrews University. His messages were very dynamic and Christ-centered which took the youth to “another spiritual level.”
By recounting his personal experience with Jesus, Pastor Guimene urged the young people to experience a higher spiritual level with Jesus, to take joy in studying the Bible, ministering to other young people and consecrating their lives to the Lord Jesus.
I want to thank the president of JAHWI, José Luis Interiano, and all the members of the board, for their hard work in preparing for this retreat. “Well done, good and faithful servant” Matthew 25:23.
I personally thank the Lord for the Hispanic youth of Wisconsin and pray that God continues to use and bless them as we wait for Jesus’ return in glory.
