Este pasado 17 de noviembre, las damas del Ministerio Hispano se reunieron para celebrar su sexto banquete anual “Deléitate en el Buen Comer”. Más de 300 personas asistieron a este evento, incluyendo alrededor de 80 amigas. Este evento ofreció a las damas la oportunidad de destacar sus talentos tanto en la decoración de las mesas, como en las artes culinarias. También se exhibieron algunas de las recetas del libro de recetas, “Deléitate en el Buen Comer,” escrito en conjunto por las damas de las iglesias hispanas. Algunos de los platillos expuestos fueron ensaladas, tinga de pollo vegetariano, tacos al pastor vegetariano y chorizo vegetariano. Aquellas presentes tuvieron la oportunidad de pasar por cada estación de recetas, para saborear estos suculentos platillos. Además de las recetas, en la estación de nutrición, se mostró lo que debe llevar un plato completo para obtener los nutrientes que el cuerpo necesita diariamente. Además, se dedicó otra estación para servicio a la comunidad ofrecido por la Sra. Alice Garrett, para alentar aquellas presentes a involucrarse en la Misión. Por último, tuvimos una estación de guía pastoral dirigida por el Pr. De Los Santos y Pr. Colindres, para brindar información y apoyo espiritual a las damas según necesitaran.
Durante la programación, la comitiva enfatizó la importancia de tomar buenas decisiones de salud y nutrición a través de un divertido drama. Sin embargo, el momento más solemne lo produjo el Espíritu Santo a través de la cantante Alice Hyde. Ella combinó su hermosa voz con un mensaje Cristo-céntrico, evocando entre la audiencia sentimientos de gratitud y amor hacia Jesús. Después del emotivo concierto, las damas disfrutaron de una deliciosa cena preparada por cocineros voluntarios.
Una vez más, el Ministerio de la Mujer Hispana, dirigido por la Sra. Noemí Miranda y el comité de damas 2019, lograron su objetivo de equipar a las damas en temas de salud y de evangelismo. Para celebrar el lanzamiento del libro de recetas “Deléitate en el Buen Comer”, el Ministerio de la Mujer Hispana, dedicó este banquete para educar a las damas en nutrición a través de las recetas de este libro de cocina vegetariana.
Las damas también tuvieron la oportunidad de cumplir la Gran Comisión invitando a una amiga a este evento, donde sin duda tuvieron un encuentro Jesús.

On November 17 the Hispanic Women’s Ministries celebrated its sixth annual ladies banquet, “Delight Yourself in Good Eating.” Over 300 members attended, including more than 80 friends. This event offered the ladies the opportunity to highlight their talents in table decoration and culinary arts. This year, the ladies showcased recipes from the cookbook, “Deléitate en el Buen Comer,” written as a collaboration by the ladies of the Hispanic churches. Some of the dishes displayed were salads, vegetarian chicken “tingam” vegetarian “tacos al pastor,” and vegetarian sausage. The women had the opportunity to visit each station to savor these succulent dishes. In addition, a nutrition station was set up to inform on how to obtain the daily recommended nutrients . Furthermore, a station was dedicated to community service, directed by Mrs. Alice Garret to encourage attendees to become involved in the mission. In addition, we had a Pastoral Guidance station led by Pr. De Los Santos and Pr. Colindres, to provide information and spiritual support to the ladies as needed.
The committee emphasized the importance of making good health decisions through an interesting play. Yet, the most solemn moment was produced by the Holy Spirit through singer Alice Hyde. Her beautiful voice combined with a Christ-Centered message, evoked feelings of gratitude and love towards Jesus among the audience. After a moving concert, the ladies enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by volunteers from the Hispanic churches.
Once again, the Hispanic Women’s Ministries Banqut, led by Ms. Noemi Miranda and the 2019 Ladies Committee, achieved its goal of equipping women in health and evangelism. To celebrate the launch of the recipe book, “Deléitate en el Buen Comer” the Ministry of Hispanic Women banquet focused on edify women in nutrition, through the recipes in this vegetarian cookbook.
In conclusion, the ladies had the opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission by inviting a friend to this event, where they had an occasion to encounter Jesus.
