Entrenamiento de Líderes de Iglesia
El 9 de diciembre del 2023, se llevó a cabo el entrenamiento por departamentos de las Iglesias Adventistas Hispanas de la Conferencia de Wisconsin. Todos los líderes de los diferentes ministerios de las iglesias locales, se dieron cita a la iglesia de West Milwaukee.
Los Pastores Hispanos de la Conferencia de Wisconsin y la esposa de cada uno de ellos estuvieron a cargo de éste entrenamiento de líderes. También nos acompañó Robert Shetler, asistente de tesorería de la Conferencia de Wisconsin. Todos estaban preparados para compartir a cada líder las funciones y estrategias de su departamento para el próximo año eclesiástico 2024.
Con el lema “Yo Iré: A Cumplir la Misión; Orar, Crecer y Servir” todos los líderes expresaron su cometido para hacer su parte en el liderazgo local el próximo año.
También, para ayudar en la logística de la misión, los lideres dieron sugerencias tales como: Tener un retiro anual de ancianos, reuniones de líderes y miembros del personal que trabaja con niños para llevar a cabo la registración y el chequeo de antecedentes penales con la ayuda de expertos en esa área. Se ha sugerido también que el ministerio de comunicación reciba más entrenamiento para desempeñar mejor sus responsabilidades en las iglesias.
Muchas gracias a los ancianos, diáconos, ujieres y voluntarios de la iglesia West Milwaukee y las iglesias del área de Milwaukee, por ayudar en la preparación del edifico para que el entrenamiento se llevase a feliz término.
Agrademos también a los presentadores del entrenamiento de líderes: Robert Shetler, Pr. Latouche, Pr. Guzmán, Pr. De Los Santos, Pr. Sánchez, Tanya Martínez, Yudith López, Sonia Sánchez, Nayis Laotouche, Lilibeth Guzmán y Noemi Miranda por su ayuda en el entrenamiento de cada ministerio.

Church Leaders’ Training
On December 9, 2023, departmental training was held for the Hispanic Seventh-day Adventist Churches of the Wisconsin Conference. All the leaders of the different ministries of the local churches gathered at the West Milwaukee church.
The Hispanic Pastors of the Wisconsin Conference, along with their wives, were in charge of this leadership training event. Robert Shetler, assistant treasurer of the Wisconsin Conference was also part of the team. Each was prepared to share with the local leaders the functions and strategies of their department for the upcoming year of ministry in 2024.
With the motto “I Will Go: To Fulfill the Mission; Pray, Grow and Serve” each leader expressed their commitment to do their part in local leadership in the up coming year.
Also, to help with the logistics of the mission, the local church leaders gave suggestions such as: Having an annual Elders Retreat, holding meetings for leaders and staff members who work with children to better understand how to handle registration and criminal background checks with the help from experts in that area. It was also suggested that the communications ministry receive more training to better perform its responsibilities in the local churches.
Many thanks to the elders, deacons, ushers and volunteers of West Milwaukee Church and other churches in the Milwaukee area, for helping prepare the building so the training could be successful.
We also want to thank the presenters for the leaders’ training: Robert Shetler, Pastor Samuel Latouche, Pastor Cristofe Guzmán, Pastor Freddy De Los Santos, Pastor Asael Sánchez, Tanya Martínez, Yudith López, Sonia Sánchez, Nayis Laotouche, Lilibeth Guzmán and Noemi Miranda for their help in this journey.
