Green Bay Pathfinders offered Master Guide Leadership Training for Wisconsin Adventurer & Pathfinder leaders on January 11. This training satisfied part of the training requirements of the Pathfinder Master Guide coursework and was presented by Becky Ziesmer who was assisted by Rebekah Helsius.
Beginning on Friday evening, the sessions ran through Sabbath, concluding in the evening. Breakfast snacks & lunch was provided to all attendees (many thanks to Laurie Burrows & Laura Castleberg) and there were drawings for resources to be used in further completion of the Master Guide coursework in their local clubs. Eighteen people attended, and each received something from the resource table.
By the end of Sabbath, those who attended had learned about leadership and learning styles, participated in group breakout activities discussing creative worships and outreach activities, completed a Spiritual Gifts Inventory, and learned how important it is to spend time outdoors in nature, and many other things. Old friendships were renewed, new friendships made, and a shared passion for this important ministry inspired those who attended.
