Wisconsin Academy Participates in Columbus Christmas Parade

On Saturday night, December 3, Wisconsin Academy (WA) students participated in the local city of Columbus Christmas Parade. The school float, which was pulled by a truck, carried students down the few blocks from the Columbus Elementary School to the Public Library where community members gathered to watch. All were eager to see the lighting of the large Christmas tree on the library lawn.

A member of the WA senior class gave the welcome as well as the countdown to the tree lighting. He also was able to talk about attending Wisconsin Academy for the last four years.

Following the tree lighting, the academy choir surprised the crowd by singing a few Christmas carols. Many other voices joined in singing as well.

The Wisconsin Academy Church provided lots of delicious cookies for community members and students alike and although it was a chilly evening, hearts were warm with joy.
