Petersen Adventist School Makes Grape Juice for Communion

Earlier this fall, students in Mr. Blumenschein’s lower grades classroom at Petersen Adventist School learned how to make grape juice. The following is a story written by one of his 4th grade students, Dillon Maloney.

Grape Juice
I’m writing about how to make grape juice. First, we went to go pick the grapes. We walked for two miles to go pick the grapes at WA (Wisconsin Academy). Second, we took the grapes off the roots. Then Mr. B took the grapes home and then he smooshed them so some juice came out of the grapes. Next, we added the water and the sugar so it can taste good. This is how much water and sugar we added – 1/3 grape juice and water = 150 ml and 20 gr. of sugar. We took the grape juice to communion at church and people said that the grape juice was really good. They said that the grape juice was the best in their lives.

Thank you Petersen Adventist School for sharing what you learned with your church family!
