Petersen Adventist School Celebrates Grandparent’s Day

Recently our students here at Petersen Adventist School made “Remember to Pray” posters following a Bible unit on the childhood of Samuel. We typically have a program in late winter where we invite grandparents to have lunch with us, do a couple music numbers, and have a craft time with the grandparents and kids. Because we couldn’t do that this year with COVID, we decided to do a SEE activity to combine the idea of remembering to talk to AND listen to God with an outreach to our grandparents. Each student chose one of their biological grandparents to make a poster on the theme of “Remember to Pray”. The school mailed those to the grandparents’ home addresses because happy mail is something everyone likes.
