New Cameras and Lighting in Wisconsin Academy Chapel

Thanks to generous donations, new lighting and a new camera system have greatly improved our ability to livestream programs and services in the chapel.

Three cameras by PTZ Optics are mounted on the sides and at the rear of the room. The movements of these cameras can be directed by a single console at the rear of the chapel. The camera system was donated in honor of Harriet (Hearn) Shimmin, class of 1952.

Additional lighting helps illuminate the front of the chapel, not only improving the experience for people in the audience, but also making the picture brighter on livestreams. The lighting is a class gift from the Senior Class of 2020.

Several students are being trained to direct the livestream. See the results of this new system by viewing one of the services we have recently streamed on Facebook. Again, we want to say a huge thank-you to our alumni who made this possible!
