Before the COVID-19 quarantine started, 1st and 2nd graders at Milwaukee North Campus created paper mache piggy banks. Teacher, Ivy Lozano, inspired her students to create these special banks to not only learn about coins and their value, but to specifically teach about tithing, offerings, and saving money.  Teacher Lozano taught the students that part of giving tithes and offerings is trusting in Jesus, and giving from the heart.
