Hands-on Science Class for Maranatha SDA School

Students at the Maranatha School enjoyed a hands-on science class with cranberries. First, they took normal tap water and put a handful of fresh cranberries in. They had to predict if the cranberries would sink, or float.

Then they wanted to see if the dry cranberries would float since they did not have any air inside. So they took tap water and put dried cranberries inside. The cranberries sunk immediately.

Last, the students put dried cranberries in soda. The cranberries floated. This is only one of the many creative, and interesting lessons the students at Maranatha SDA Christian School experience each day.
