Courtney grew up in Selah, Washington, where she attended Yakima Adventist Christian School from Kindergarten through 10th grade. She graduated from Upper Columbia Academy, where she was a member of the varsity volleyball team and a resident assistant. During college, she took a year off to serve as the assistant girls’ dean at Dakota Adventist Academy, where she met her future husband, Derek Timms. They moved to Gentry, Arkansas, to work at Ozark Adventist Academy, where they had their three children—Denali, Rainey, and Emmett. In 2023, Courtney was hired as the Head Girls Dean at Ozark. She loves baking, cooking, spending time with her family, and playing volleyball. She is excited to be back in the dorm, working with the amazing young women at Wisconsin Academy. Courtney hopes to foster student leaders with a heart of service and a love for Jesus.
