The Wakonda Work Bee is just around the corner and we’re hoping that you will be a part of it! The work bee will begin on Sunday, May 17, at 9:00 am through, Thursday May 21. Plan to come for a day, two days or stay for the whole time! Meals and housing, in cabins, will be provided for those helping with camp projects.

There are projects for everyone! From the most skilled craftsman to those eager to help, there will be jobs for all. Projects include (but are not limited to) the following:

Various carpentry jobs
Painting cabins
Mechanic work on vehicles
Meal prep/clean-up
Flowerbeds – TLC
Stick removal
Clean pine needles from roofs
Grounds projects
Replacing fencing around Fireside
Deep cleaning
Installing new metal roofs
Power wash steps
Landscaping
Winter debris removal
General repairs
Install asphalt shingles
Install steel siding
Various plumbing jobs

If you have a specialty, bring your equipment. Come and enjoy fun, making new friends, fellowship and fresh air. Optional evening activities are planned. Please check in at the office to let us know you have arrived.
