We are praising God that donations are already coming in for Wakonda: Building Our Future, the matching challenge presented, by Executive Secretary/Treasurer, Brian Stephan, at our recent constituency session. We wanted to give you and update on this project.

God has blessed us with the opportunity to make some needed updates to our youth camp. Earlier this year, a large maturity came through that gave $322,000 to Camp Wakonda. We are excited to challenge you as members to make a dollar for dollar match to double these funds! Together we can make double the impact!

The main focus of this project will be to replace the existing children’s division tents used during camp meeting with permanent structures to better serve our young people. We also would like to rebuild the medical/store building on the camp grounds and make needed renovations to our camp meeting cabins.

We are also excited to announce that Maranatha will be organizing a group of volunteers to come to Camp Wakonda from April 17 – May 7. You have the opportunity to join Maranatha as a volunteer to help us with these projects. Stay tuned for more information on how you can join their team.
