Camp Meeting Updates and Program Guidebook

Camp Meeting June 4, 2024

We are just a few days away from the start of Wisconsin Camp Meeting! We look forward to seeing many of you at Camp Wakonda for this special time of spiritual renewal.

Below you will find more information about what will be happening during camp meeting as well as a link to our program guidebook with seminar and division schedules.

  • Our Sabbaths will be highlighted with the Pathfinder Parade and Ordination Service for Pastor Carlton Mouzon (1st Sabbath) and the Baptism at Sandow Lake (2nd Sabbath).
  • The New Beginners Sabbath School Curriculum will be demonstrated by Debbie Darnall on Sunday morning, June 16, at 9:30 am in Red Pine Lodge. All Sabbath School teachers and others interested in experiencing the new curriculum are invited.
  • Remember to bring your donations for our Adventist Community Services (ACS) Project: School Supplies for the Westfield Schools. For a list of needed items visit: https://wi.adventist.org/adventist-community-services-at-camp-meeting/
  • The ACS “Meet & Greet” will be happening on Sunday, June 16, at 2:00 pm in Cedar Lodge. ACS leaders and anyone interested in ACS is welcome to come and share together what is happening in your churches.
  • Make prayer a priority with the Early Morning Prayer time – 7:00am daily and by attending the All Night Prayer Vigil beginning Wednesday night at 10:00 pm in Pioneer Pavilion.
  • The New Camp Store will be holding it’s Grand Opening the first Saturday night of camp meeting right after the evening program.
  • The Snack Shack will be operating in a tent near the Pioneer Chapel.
  • Pickle Ball will once again be happening on the basketball courts, Sunday-Friday beginning at 8:30 am.
  • Unicycling will also be taking place in front of the cafeteria Monday-Friday at 1:00pm
  • Swimming at Sandow Lake will be open, but please check the guidebook for a New Swim Schedule!
  • Enjoy singing? Make sure to join the camp meeting choir! Practices will take place Monday – Friday at 1:00 pm in Pioneer Pavilion.
  • Don’t forget to sign up for the annual Hallelujah Hustle 5K Run/Walk happening on Sunday morning, June 16, at 7:30 am. In memory of former WI Conference President, Mike Edge, the proceeds will go the cancer support organization, Portia’s Purpose. You can register ahead of time at: https://hallelujahhustle.com/
  • Andrews University Alumni is bringing back the Strawberry Shortcake Feed! Watch for them to set up in front of their cabin on the first Sabbath afternoon.
  • The Nature Center in White Pine Lodge will be open from 2-4:30 daily.
  • The annual Lake to Lake Run will be happening on Wednesday at 11:30 am
  • Don’t forget to stop by the Wisconsin Academy, Little Red School House and Andrews University cabins for new daily activities.
