Jeannie Buchholz to Teach at Three Angels Christian School

Jeannie Buchholz is leaving Petersen Elementary where she taught grades 5-8 for the past two years, and is going to teach grades 5-8 at Three Angels Christian School in Madison.

“I grew up in California and attended Adventist schools all the way through college. After graduating with a degree in accounting, my love of school and learning led me to my first job out of college as secretary/treasurer at Foothills Adventist Elementary in St. Helena, California. After one year in that position, I pursued a degree in elementary education and have been teaching either in elementary, secondary, or homeschooling ever since.

“I have been teaching at Petersen Elementary since 2017, and prior to that I worked at Wisconsin Academy for seventeen years. While there, my responsibilities included teaching English, freshman Bible, accounting, and personal finance. I also served as registrar and vice-principal for two years.

“I enjoy working with students of all ages, and my greatest satisfaction in teaching comes when students demonstrate a growth mindset, become engaged in the learning process, and experience joy in learning. Teaching in an Adventist school provides the opportunity and challenge of helping students strive towards reaching their God-given potential spiritually as well as academically.”
