Update on Adventist Community Services Relief Efforts for Afghan Refugees

Alice Garrett and the Wisconsin Adventist Community Services team is continuing to assess and help meet the need for items to assist Afghan refugees that have come to our state. Alice reports that as the resettlement process moves forward the needs will transition more to the local level versus a state wide effort. Recently the need was for toddler clothing which our Wisconsin team purchased with donated funds. Alice is very appreciative for the support our churches have shown for these refugees.

Coordinators of the assistance effort at Fort McCoy have created an Amazon “Wish List” for those interested in purchasing specific items. You can view the wish list here: Fort McCoy Amazon Wish List.

Thank you for your continued support of Adventist Community Services in Wisconsin!
