A Note From the Editor: Seasons of Change

Communication November 1, 2024

Our world operates on a consistent cycle of changing seasons. Spring signals the beginning of the cycle with the onset of newness and life. We enjoy the fullness of that newness as Summer sets in. Next we contemplate the changes that Autumn brings with its displays of color, yet we know that the cold and snow of Winter is just around the corner. However, we always have the promise that Spring will come again and bring the cycle full circle. If we stop to take in each season, we recognize each has its own beauty.

Our lives tend to operate on a similar pattern of changing seasons. Sometimes we welcome the change in life seasons and other times it is challenging to face what lies ahead. But, we always have the promise of our Father in Heaven that He is preparing a new and better place for us.

After five and a half years serving in the Communication Department it is with mixed emotions that I make the announcement, that at the end of December, I will be stepping down from my role as Communication Coordinator for the conference. It has been my privilege to serve the Wisconsin Conference in this role. Over that time I have learned many new skills and enjoyed working with many people across the conference. It is time though for me to put my focus in another area of my life. As I pursue this new season, I am grateful for what God has done and am looking forward to what He will do in the future.

Please pray with me for the next person who will serve in this capacity.
