New WA Pastor Jonathan Franco

Ministerial January 2, 2026

The Wisconsin Conference is pleased to welcome Jonathan Franco. Jonathan is originally from Houston, Texas. He served as a student pastor in Texas for two years, where he focused on youth and small groups ministry. After graduating from Southwestern Adventist University, he worked for one year as the chaplain of Ozark Adventist Academy, where he developed a deep passion for Adventist education. Jonathan later attended Andrews University to earn his master’s degree, gaining some experience with colder climates along the way. He then served as a district pastor in Arkansas for three years.

During the interview process with the Wisconsin Conference, God made it abundantly clear to Jonathan and his family that this is where He was calling them to be. They desire to faithfully follow His leading and trust in His plan for their lives.

Jonathan’s goal is to make disciples as Jesus commanded. He is especially passionate about ministering to young people who are wrestling with important life decisions such as career, spouse, location, and faith. His desire is to introduce them to Jesus—not a superficial relationship, but a genuine and life-changing one.

In his personal time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with family, learning, reading, exercising, sports, board games, and jigsaw puzzles. We are grateful to welcome Jonathan to the Wisconsin Conference and look forward to how God will use his ministry as we serve together.
