Yepheng Thao New Assistant Men’s Dean for Wisconsin Academy

Personnel April 4, 2025

Yepheng Thao is excited to join Wisconsin Academy as the new assistant men’s dean. A proud Hmong American, Yepheng was a four-year student at WA and graduated with the class of 2021. He is set to graduate this May from Union Adventist University, where he is majoring in Religion with an emphasis in chaplaincy, and minoring in Psychology and Leadership. Although he brings experience in education and leadership, Yepheng is dedicated to continuous personal and professional growth.

Yepheng was drawn back to Wisconsin Academy by the opportunity to serve the community that had supported him during his time as a student. His passion is to give back and help the next generation develop in faith, character, and purpose. Yepheng looks forward to building meaningful connections with the students, staff, and families, and sharing the love of Christ throughout campus.

Outside of work, Yepheng enjoys fishing, nature walks, playing volleyball, and spending quality time with family. He values honesty, believes in the importance of asking questions rather than pretending to know everything, and strives to live by the words of Matthew 7:12: “Do unto others what you would have them do to you.” Yepheng is excited to embark on this new journey and looks forward to working alongside everyone at the school.
