The Tomahawk Community Seventh-day Adventist Church, in the Northwoods District, stays very busy all year long with community service projects. However, during the Holiday season each year they have some special traditions that help to spread Jesus’ love in their community.
The church enjoys making break-room treat trays for the Fire and Police Departments, public radio station, nursing homes and Tomahawk Elementary School. Their goal is to show these groups how much they appreciate their service.
The members also provide clothing to the elementary school to help with any accidents (wet or muddy) that might occur with young students; so the parents don’t have to come with new clothes.
One of their favorite projects is packing up groceries, clothing and toys for Christmas boxes to share with families in need. They always include Christian literature with their gifts.
In addition, the church’s radio station lifts Jesus during the holidays and all through the year. They want to share the news that God is good!
Sending Blessed Holiday Wishes from Tomahawk Wisconsin!
