With twenty-four years of teaching in Adventist Christian education, Mrs. Rosanna Zeismer has experience working with children from grades K-9. A graduate of Union College, with a BS in Education, Rosanna has taught in both one-room and multi-teacher schools serving both the Iowa-Missouri and Wisconsin Conferences of Seventh-day Adventists (SDA). Currently, Rosanna is wrapping up her nineteenth year of teaching at Maranatha SDA Christian School in Lena, WI, where she has enjoyed working with many children and their families through the years.
It has long been Rosanna’s belief that her role as a teacher is to partner with parents in the educational journey; not only through grades and short-term outcomes but also in looking at each child’s long-term goals and desired outcomes. Looking at each student as the individual God created them to be with a unique mix of strengths and areas under development, she strives to help each student develop mastery. With this in mind, she recognizes that every student learns, just not in the same way, on the same day, or with the same goals, and thus works with each student to understand their learning journey and growth needs.
Rosanna’s own experience as a student with online learning and that of her four children as part of their high school and college journeys have been helpful as she prepares to transition to virtual teaching. She is excited to join INspire Academy, work with students, parents, and staff, and see how God will bless our school family.
The Wisconsin Conference Education Department has partnered with the Illinois and Indiana conferences to offer online education through INspire Academy. You can see a video, with more information about this program HERE: https://vimeo.com/911011749
